Breathe
Louise O'Boyle
This body of work was created over a two-day period
Northern Ireland's north coast, the sea and its inhabitants inspired
and provided the visual, sound and physical elements included in this
reflection
This reflection is a note to myself, a reminder to take time to breathe and be
That sense of quiet panic, that fuels the belief that time is running out
What for?
The final outcome is the same
Fill this lifetime with memories
Fill and use all senses
Log and feel each moment
Take time to pause and breathe
Slow down to really see
"You are a human being not a human doing" (COB, 2013)
b r e a t h e
take the next 5 minutes to focus only on breathing
Did sea define the land or land the sea?
Each drew new meaning from the waves' collision.
Sea broke on land to full identity.
